Electric showers
Electric Shower Installation in Liverpool
A new electric shower or a like-for-like swap, on the right size cable and breaker for its power. Harry checks your existing circuit first, because a bigger shower on an old cable is how showers trip and cables overheat.

Who it is for
Signs your shower needs replacing
Most people call about a shower for one of these.
The shower keeps tripping
Often the unit failing, or a shower that is too powerful for its cable.
Water runs hot then cold
A worn heating element or flow valve. Often cheaper to replace the unit than repair it.
A burning smell or scorched isolator
Switch it off at the pull cord and the board, and get it checked.
Weak, dribbling flow
A blocked or failing unit, often in hard water areas.
A new bathroom on the way
The best time to get the circuit right is while the walls are open.
Moving from a mixer to an electric shower
This needs a new high-current circuit from the fuse board.

electric showers

WhatsApp HarryHow much to fit an electric shower?
A like-for-like swap on a circuit that is already the right size costs much less than a new shower that needs a new cable. Send Harry a photo of the old unit's label and the one you want, and he will give you a price.
Why does my electric shower keep tripping?
Usually the unit is failing, water has got into it, or it is too powerful for the cable and breaker. Stop using it and get the circuit checked.
Can I put a more powerful shower on my old cable?
Sometimes. It depends on the cable size, the length of the run and the breaker. Harry checks before you buy so you do not end up with a shower the circuit cannot take.
Do I need a certificate for an electric shower?
A new shower circuit is notifiable under Part P and needs certifying. Harry tests and certifies the work either way.
Do you fit the plumbing too?
Harry is an electrician. Tell him what you need and he will say what he can do and what needs a plumber.
